David Kutas

David Kutas is a Senior Design Engineer at Reforge since 2025, following a role as Founding Design Engineer at Cartesia. Previously, David served as a Sr. Data Experience Design Engineer at Visa, contributing to an open-source library. As the Founder and Product Designer at Linecept, David designed a productivity web app and built numerous design system components. A former Research Scientist Intern at Adobe, David worked on innovative video editing solutions. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Software Engineering from UC Irvine, David also held multiple teaching assistant roles during doctoral studies, focusing on interactive technology and software development. Additional experience includes freelance graphic and web design through a personal firm and a product design role at Smith & Wesson.
