Jose Padovani Oliveira

Jose Padovani Oliveira, CPIM has extensive work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Jose has held various roles at different companies, including Refresco, Gerdau Long Steel North America, Beiersdorf, Gerdau, and DuPont.

At Refresco, Jose currently holds the position of Vice President Supply Chain, previously serving as Sr Director in supply chain network planning and supply chain management.

During their tenure at Gerdau Long Steel North America, Jose held the position of Director of Logistics, where they oversaw a significant freight budget, supported multiple locations, and managed a team of direct reports and employees. Jose also served as the Manager of Sales & Operations Planning and as a Supply Chain Process Leader.

At Beiersdorf, Jose worked as the Manager of Demand Planning for the Nivea brand, where they managed forecasting, planning, and launch processes.

Prior to that, at Gerdau, Jose worked as a Planning Consultant, leading the Sales & Operations Planning process for multiple locations. Jose joined the company as a Planning Trainee.

Before entering the corporate world, Jose gained experience as an intern in supply chain at DuPont.

Throughout their career, Jose has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.

Jose Padovani Oliveira, CPIM, completed their education history with a Business Excellence Program in Accounting and Finance from Columbia Business School in 2013. Prior to that, they earned an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2009. Jose also holds a degree in Production Engineering from UFSCar - Alumni, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. Additionally, they are certified as a CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) by APICS, obtained in 2005.
