Chris Cassino has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the marketing and media industry.
Chris began their career at MarketSource in 1993, where they served as the Director of Fulfillment Services. In this role, they managed a large-scale fulfillment operation, overseeing packaging projects and negotiating expense management.
Cassino then moved on to become the Director of Marketing Operations at MarketSource, where they led the Sampling & Promotions Operations team. Chris was responsible for proposal development, costing, and ensuring flawless execution of marketing campaigns for key clients such as J&J, P&G, Unilever, General Mills, and Kellogg.
In 2001, Cassino was promoted to Group Director-Marketing Operations at Alloy Media + Marketing. Chris successfully led the integration of multiple acquisitions, establishing new processes and leveraging cross-training efficiencies. This resulted in significant revenue growth and increased profitability.
Chris then joined re:fuel in 2004 and was promoted to Vice President of Sampling. In this role, they improved internal relationships and provided leadership to enhance business unit performance.
In 2013, Cassino joined Refuel Media Group as the President of the Print Division. Chris generated new revenue through the development of the Community Weekly Print network and increased margins by reducing attrition and fostering staff teamwork.
Later that year, Cassino transitioned to Refuel Agency, where they assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer. Chris had full responsibility for operational oversight, including HR, technology, and legal functions. Cassino led a significant organizational restructuring, resulting in cost reductions and streamlined operations. Chris also directed a $40mm daily operation and managed a team of 45 members.
Throughout their career, Cassino has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a track record of driving success in the marketing and media industry.
Chris Cassino obtained a BS degree in Marketing from Monmouth University in 1989.
