Solomy Awiidi

Solomy Awiidi is currently working as a Program Manager at Refugee Law Project, Faculty of Law, Makerere University. Prior to this position, Awiidi held various roles within Refugee Law Project, including Transitional Justice Lawyer and Legal Officer. In addition, Awiidi has experience as an Intern in the Africa Division at Human Rights Watch and at MenEngage Alliance. Awiidi also served as a Programme Manager and Project Officer at MIFUMI. With a background in law, Awiidi obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uganda Christian University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Center. Awiidi also completed a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship in Law and Human rights at American University.
