Refugees International
Sarah Deardorff Miller is an experienced academic and practitioner in the field of international relations and refugee studies. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty and Co-PI at Georgetown University since August 2020, Miller also holds the position of Senior Fellow at Refugees International since January 2019. Additionally, Miller tutors MA students at the School of Advanced Study at the University of London and has previously taught at Columbia University and American University. Consulting roles have included work with the International Labour Organization, International Rescue Committee, UNHCR, and the World Bank IEG, focusing on refugee policy and protection. Educational credentials include a PhD and an MS in International Relations and Forced Migration from the University of Oxford, alongside other degrees from the University of Chicago and Valparaiso University.
