Damaris Kibuthu is an experienced professional in the field of community development and livelihoods with a strong background in program coordination and social work. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Livelihoods at RefugePoint since July 2018, Damaris has previously worked as a Program Coordinator at Covenant Connections in Development from May 2014 to June 2018, and as a Livelihoods Assistant at the Center for Domestic Training and Development for part of 2013. Damaris began a career in social services at GIZ as a Social Worker from February 2010 to December 2012. Damaris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Daystar University (2008-2012) and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation at Daystar University, expected to complete in November 2025.
