Kayla Slagter

Kayla Slagter, CFRE, currently serves as the Associate Director of Development at RefugePoint since April 2024, while also being the Founder of NonProfit Life since 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the Center for Civilians in Conflict as Acting Senior Manager of Development and Individual Giving Manager from April 2021 to March 2024, and as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Jill's House from November 2020 to April 2021. Previous positions include Donor Relations Manager, Donor Relations Coordinator at Jill's House, Business Development Associate at Vorsight, and Fellow at Christian Action for Reconciliation and Social Assistance. Kayla completed a Master of Science in Post-Conflict Justice and Peacebuilding at the University of Aberdeen and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Wheaton College.
