Glen Barnes

Glen Barnes has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Glen worked as the Head of Asian Investments at Regal Partners, a $10 billion hedge fund, from October 2015 until the present. Prior to that, they served as a Portfolio Manager at Searchlight Capital from May 2012 to September 2015. Glen also worked as an Investment Manager at Mathews Capital from June 2010 to April 2012. Earlier in their career, Glen was employed at Satellite Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst, where they managed funds ranging from $300 million to $1 billion. Glen began their career at Deutsche Bank as an Associate in Corporate Finance, M&A, and Leveraged Finance, where they worked from February 2001 to August 2005.

Glen Barnes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Queensland, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Finance at Kaplan Professional, graduating with honors.

In 2005 and 2006, Glen completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Certificate in Corporate Finance at FSA qualifications. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they acquired the CPA Professional Qualification from CPA Australia.
