Tim Egan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in waste conversion processes and value recovery from waste streams. Currently leading engineering and R&D teams across multiple companies since January 2016, Tim has successfully scaled technologies for large waste-to-protein factories and transformed small-scale composting operations into professional facilities. Prior experience at Unilever from January 2013 to February 2016 involved roles such as Projects Engineer, Process Analyst, Process Development Technologist, and Process Engineer, where Tim focused on IT infrastructure delivery, quality improvements, and innovation in food production. Tim's academic credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
