Dr. Ashish Shukla's work experience includes various roles in different healthcare organizations. Dr. Ashish served as the Group Vice President & Head of Operations and Strategy at Regency Health, overseeing operations, strategy, business expansion, and digital transformation. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant & Advisor in Hospital & Healthcare Services. Dr. Ashish also served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Iquahealth and as an Associate Director at CPH (India). Additionally, they held positions at Fortis Healthcare, Delhi Disaster Management Authority, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Delhi, Indian Red Cross Society - IRCS, and ICRI India as a Facility Director, Medical Administrator, Ex-Officio Member, Administrator/MS, and Visiting Faculty Member respectively.
Dr. Ashish Shukla holds a degree in Healthcare Management from the Indian School of Business and a degree in Hospital Administration/Management from IIHMR University. Dr. Ashish also completed a program in Management Education at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. Dr. Shukla obtained a certificate in Managing Vulnerable Populations & COVID-19 from Harvard Medical School and an MBA in Healthcare Services with a specialization in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. Dr. Ashish also holds a PG Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA) from AHERF - Hyderabad and a Fellowship in Digital Health from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHiME). Additionally, Dr. Shukla has obtained various certifications in areas such as national quality assurance standards, operational planning for COVID-19, digital health advancement, basic life support, ISO certifications, health program evaluation, and GCP ethics committee workshop. Dr. Ashish is a member of ISQua and the American College of Healthcare Executives, and they are an internal assessor for NABH through the Quality Council of India.

Regency Hospital was the first multi-speciality tertiary care corporate hospital in Uttar Pradesh, which was established in 1995 with a view to fill the wide gap between the demand of high-quality medical services and actually available services on the ground. Regency Hospital was also the first NABH hospital in the State, as well as the first centre for Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU).
