ReGeneration Schools
Alicia M Johnson is an experienced professional specializing in education and therapy for children, with a background in special education, behavior support, and health services. Currently a paraprofessional at ReGeneration Schools since January 2018, Alicia works closely with educational teams to support students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Prior roles include providing one-on-one therapy through Autism Home Support Services, behavior therapy at Cornerstones Autism Services, and early childhood education at McGaw YMCA. Alicia also brings experience from the healthcare sector as a patient care coordinator at Connect Hearing US and administrative support roles from The University of Texas at El Paso. With a second bachelor's degree in American Sign Language from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Linguistics focused on speech language pathology, Alicia combines extensive knowledge in communication and child development with a strong commitment to professional service.

ReGeneration Schools is a non-profit school management organization that's dedicated to ensuring that all children have equal access to high quality, college-preparatory education through academic excellence and the content of their character. We currently manage a network of six schools on three CICS campuses in Chicago, IL, and three schools in Cincinnati, OH. ReGeneration Schools prepares all students to enter and succeed in college through effort, achievement and the content of their character.
