Tue Mantoni has enjoyed an illustrious career operating, advising, and investing in global consumer businesses. For four years, he served as a Board Member and subsequently Chairman of the Board at Vaekstfonden, Denmark’s sovereign wealth fund with a focus on early-stage and fund investments.
Tue spent his early career advising major multinationals across Europe with McKinsey & Co’s Copenhagen and London offices. After spearheading a successful brand rebirth and business strategy transformation for his client, Triumph Motorcycles, Tue accepted an offer to become CEO of the company. During his 8-year tenure, Triumph saw tremendous growth, leading to his concurrent appointment to the Board of Directors at Bang & Olufsen, a high-end Danish consumer electronics business (“B&O”). After two years as a non-Executive Board Director, Tue transitioned to CEO & President of B&O, a role he held over five years.
Today, Tue holds Board Member and Chairman positions for cutting-edge apparel & lifestyle (GUBI, Stine GOYA), consumer electronics (Soundboks), and food & beverage businesses (Lakrids by Bülow, Joe & The Juice, The Organic Crave Company) based in Copenhagen.
Tue is the best-selling author of “Samfundskontraten” (“The Social Contract”), an exploration of the relationship between business and society through study of the current Danish entrepreneurial ecosystem and detail of its near-future potential. He completed his Master’s Degree in Mathematical Finance at Copenhagen Business School and still calls Copenhagen home, where he resides with his wife, three children and his dog, a Lagotto Romagnolo called Ziggy.
