James Bonini

James Bonini is an accomplished executive in research informatics with extensive experience in the biotechnology industry. Currently serving as Executive Director of Research IT at Regeneron since January 2012, James has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Director and Director of Scientific Business Analysis, where notable achievements include the successful implementation of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). Prior to Regeneron, James held significant positions at Lundbeck Research USA, managing the US Research Informatics group and overseeing critical projects for data management and transfer. Earlier in James's career, roles at Synaptic Pharmaceutical Corp and Howard Hughes Medical Institute included leading informatics teams and conducting pioneering research in G protein-coupled receptors. James holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Marquette University.
