Wenying Deng

Wenying Deng is a Principal Biostatistician at Regeneron since June 2023, with a strong background in biostatistics and statistical analysis. Previous roles include Statistical Reviewer at The Lancet and multiple positions at Harvard University, where Wenying served as a Teaching Assistant and conducted research with guidance from advisor Brent Coull on advancing inference methods in biostatistics. Experience also includes working as a Biostatistician at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, where Wenying designed Bayesian kernel machine regression models, and at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, focusing on algorithms for clinical trial monitoring. Wenying holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, a Master’s in Biostatistics from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Statistics from Sun Yat-sen University.
