João Pedro Gouveia

João Pedro Gouveia is a co-founder and lead for energy systems at RegenIntel, dedicated to advancing climate solutions through collaborative intelligence. Additionally, João Pedro serves as the CHANGE thematic line coordinator focused on promoting a circular and carbon-neutral economy. With extensive academic involvement as an invited professor at ISEC and NOVA School of Science and Technology, along with editorial roles at Frontiers in Sustainable Cities and PLOS Climate, João Pedro contributes significantly to interdisciplinary research on sustainability. As a senior researcher at CENSE, João Pedro leads initiatives on societal impact and technology transfer, while also being a founding board member of APEEN and participating in EU cost actions addressing energy poverty. João Pedro holds a PhD in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies from NOVA University of Lisbon, complemented by a Master's in Environmental Engineering.
