Shawn McCarthy has extensive work experience in the healthcare and medical device industry. Shawn currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Regenity Biosciences, a leading global developer and manufacturer of bioresorbable technologies for tissue and bone regeneration. Before joining Regenity, Shawn held the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager at Boston Scientific, where they oversaw the Structural Heart Valves division. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Tryton from 2011 to 2017. Shawn also worked at AngioDynamics as the SVP and Worldwide General Manager from 2009 to 2011. Shawn'searlier career includes various leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, where they served as the Worldwide Vice President of Marketing and held several other marketing and sales positions. Shawn began their career in the healthcare industry at Sunrise Medical and Pride Mobility Products as a Senior Global Product Manager and Area Sales Manager, respectively.
Shawn McCarthy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Marketing from Syracuse University, from the year 1987 to 1991. Later on, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued and obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
