Kees Verspui

Kees Verspui is an experienced professional specializing in climate and sustainability management, currently serving as Kerngroeplid for Regiodeal Stedendriehoek and Vice-voorzitter of the sectorbestuur Overheid at FNV since June 2023. With a longstanding tenure at Gemeente Brummen since August 2008, Kees has held various roles including Manager klimaat en duurzaamheid and Teamleider Algemene Beleidsadvisering. Kees has also contributed to regional governance as a member of Euregio Rijn-Waal's council and as a D66 council member in Rheden-Rozendaal. The focus on energy transition is evident through Kees's role as Regiocoördinator Energietransitie at Regio Stedendriehoek and as Secretary for the Regional Cooperation table under the Gelders Energieakkoord.
