Kristi Johnson

Kristi Johnson has extensive experience in the fields of childhood development and professional support services. Currently serving as a Head Start Consultant at Region 14 ESC since February 2009, Kristi specializes in areas such as PROMIS, HR, Parent Meetings, and serves as a Child Care Texas Rising Star Assessor. In this role, Kristi also functions as a Professional Development Consultant, overseeing logistical arrangements and staff development records for 43 districts, as well as publishing catalogs. Previous experience includes coordinating childhood feeding programs at the Food Bank of West Central Texas, serving as a Match Support Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas, and working as a Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Otero County. Kristi's formative experience includes an internship with the Children, Youth, and Families Department of Otero County. Academically, Kristi holds a BS in Family & Child Science from New Mexico State University and an Associate degree in Applied Science from Cisco Junior College.
