Karin Lewis

Karin Lewis has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Karin started their own company, Karin Lewis & Company, PLLC, in 2005, where they served as the President. In this role, they provided litigation support, forensic accounting services, and business consulting, tax, and bookkeeping services. Karin was qualified as an expert in several Mississippi counties. In 2020, they took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at VergentLMS, where they worked until November 2020. Subsequently, they joined Region 8 Mental Health as the Director of Operations in November 2020.

Karin Lewis attended Mississippi State University from 1982 to 1986 and earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy (BPA) degree with a focus on accounting. In 1988, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Mississippi Board of Public Accounting. Later, in January 2009, they obtained another certification, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
