Jens Gordon Clausen

Jens Gordon Clausen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across public administration and defense sectors. Currently serving as Regionsdirektør and CEO at Region Hovedstaden since January 2015, Clausen previously held positions at the Danish Ministry of Finance, including Afdelingschef and Kontorchef, from 2002 to December 2014, and Fuldmægtig earlier in their tenure. Additionally, Clausen served in the Royal Danish Air Force as a Premierløjtnant from August 1997 to December 2002. Academically, Clausen has a Cand.polit in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, an M.Sc. in Political Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and completed the Senior Executive Fellows programme at Harvard Kennedy School. Currently, Clausen is pursuing further education at Copenhagen Business School in Economic decision making and control.
