Rick Hunsaker

Rick Hunsaker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rick started their career at Region XII Council of Governments in 1990 as a Regional Planner and eventually worked their way up to Executive Director. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing various programs related to economic and social development of the region. Rick then joined Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division in 2006 as a Commissioner, where they served until 2016. In addition to their professional roles, Hunsaker also worked as an Assistant Debate Coach at Kuemper Catholic High School from 2001 to 2006.

Rick Hunsaker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, International Relations, and Geography from Drake University, obtained between 1984 and 1988. Rick later completed a Master's in Public Finance at the same university, from 1988 to 1990.
