Rocky Chowdhury

Rocky Chowdhury, M.Sc., P.Eng., is an experienced Project Engineer specializing in water services, currently working at the Regional District of Nanaimo since August 2021. Prior roles include City Engineer for the City of Meadow Lake, where responsibilities encompassed planning, design, and management of civil capital projects, and serving as City Engineer and Research Engineer at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on stormwater management and teaching. Additional experience includes positions at ECO ENGINEERING LTD. and the Institute of Water Modelling, contributing to water supply projects and hydraulic engineering tasks. Rocky Chowdhury holds a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
