Colleen Fleming-Damon

Colleen Fleming-Damon, PhD, APRN, FT, currently serves as the APRN Hospice Administrator at Regional Hospice since October 2023, having previously held the position of Lead Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner-Thanatologist at Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. since August 2021. Colleen has extensive experience in palliative care, leading teams of nurse practitioners and focusing on alleviating suffering and improving quality of life for patients with life-threatening illnesses across various healthcare settings. Colleen's academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Professor at Mount Saint Mary College from 2011 to 2022, where numerous nursing courses were developed and taught. Colleen has also held significant roles at MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care as Director of Education and Training and as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner-Thanatologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Colleen holds advanced degrees in nursing, including a PhD from Adelphi University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
