George Moxley has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. George began their career as a Law Clerk at Johnson, Smith, Hibbard & Wildman, L.L.P. in 2006, followed by a position as a Law Clerk at the South Carolina Attorney General's Office in 2007. In 2009, George served as a Youth Minister Intern at Princeton Presbyterian Church before joining Spartanburg Presbyterian Student Association as a Campus Ministry Intern in 2011. That same year, they became a Minister Intern at Second Presbyterian Church. From 2012 to 2015, George worked as an Associate Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church.

In 2015, George transitioned into the corporate world and joined Regional Finance as the Regulatory and Consumer Relations Manager. Over the years, they progressed within the company and held various positions, including Associate Counsel, Director of Associate Counsel, and most recently, Sr. Director of Associate Counsel. George's tenure at Regional Finance has been ongoing, and they continue to contribute to the company's legal affairs and regulatory compliance.

George Moxley received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Furman University in 2005. George then went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law from 2005 to 2008, earning their Juris Doctorate degree in Law. After completing their legal studies, they pursued further education in theology at Princeton Theological Seminary from 2008 to 2011, obtaining their Master of Divinity degree.
