Christina Smestad

Christina Smestad has over 23 years of work experience, primarily in the real estate industry. Christina has held various roles at Regional Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (RMLS), starting as a Receptionist in 1999 and progressing to become the Vice President of Operations. As Vice President of Operations, they provided leadership and oversight of company goals and activities, managing administrative functions, legal activities, and communication support functions. Christina also supervised departments such as Distribution Services, Graphic Design, and Research Statistical Specialists. Christina held this position twice, from July 2016 to June 2022, and from July 2022 (current) to present.

Prior to their roles at RMLS, Christina worked as a Business Analyst/Policy Manager from April 2010 to July 2016 and as a Quality Assurance Manager from February 2007 to April 2010. Christina also served as a Quality Assurance Coordinator from October 2001 to February 2007 and as a Technical Trainer from December 1999 to October 2001.

Additionally, Christina had a brief role as the Interim Executive Officer at Oregon Real Estate Forms, LLC, from December 2021 to July 2022.

Christina Smestad attended Ketchikan High School from 1995 to 1998. Christina did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. In addition to their high school education, Christina has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they became a Certified Tester, Foundation Level through ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page. In 2013, they obtained the CMLX1 Designation from CMLS - Council of Multiple Listing Services, and in 2014, they obtained the CMLX2 Designation from the same institution. Most recently, in May 2021, Christina obtained the RED-B Designation from the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO).
