Xinzhu Yu (Helen)

Xinzhu (Helen) Yu is a skilled finance and community investment professional with extensive experience in both public service and volunteer roles. Currently serving as Community Investment Coordinator at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo since February 2022 and previously as a Business Analyst since September 2015, Xinzhu has also contributed as Treasurer for CUPE LOCAL 1505 and held the position of Director of Finance and Administration for the 2018 Wood Buffalo Alberta Winter Games. Earlier roles include Finance Officer at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Project Accountant at Sabal Homes by Hopewell. Xinzhu holds a Diploma in Accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University in China.
