Cornelius Mitchell

Cornelius Mitchell, Sr. has had a career in the healthcare industry, primarily working as a surgical technologist. Cornelius started their career at Anthem College in 2004, working as a Night Director until 2009. In the same year, they also joined Baptist Memorial Health Care as a Surgical Technologist and stayed there until 2017. In 2017, they transitioned to Regional One Health, where they currently hold the position of Lead Surgical Technologist.

Cornelius Mitchell, Sr. completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The University of Memphis from 2011 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Surgical Technology/Technologist from Anthem College-Phoenix in 2004-2005. Additionally, they pursued pre-medical studies at Lambuth University from 1990 to 1993. Cornelius also holds a certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, obtained in 2017.
