Craig Thomas

Craig Thomas has extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as a Sergeant and Emergency Specialist V at United States Steel Corporation since September 2006, where responsibilities include security, firefighting, emergency medical services, and technical rescue, along with dispatch supervision. Additionally, Craig has been a Paramedic with Regional Paramedical Services since February 1998, overseeing Winston County operations from 2002 to 2004. At Haleyville Fire/Rescue since January 1994, Craig also holds the role of Firefighter/Paramedic while securing over $1,000,000 in grants as a Grant Specialist and managing the organization’s web page. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Columbia Southern University and various certifications from Alabama Fire College, Northwest Shoals Community College, and the University of North Alabama.
