Charles Cardin

Charles Cardin, PE, SE, is a Structural Engineer IV at RTD since January 2023. Previously, Charles served as a Structural Engineer VI at MARTA from September 2011 to December 2022, where responsibilities included structural design calculations, contract drawings, specifications, and coordination with other disciplines. Charles advanced through multiple roles at MARTA, offering technical solutions for structural projects, reviewing external designs, and supervising other engineers. Charles began a career in engineering through an internship focused on assisting with CAD drawings and conducting site inspections. Charles holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Georgia Institute of Technology.
