Emily Valdez

Emily Valdez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data privacy, compliance, and information governance. Currently serving as the Program Manager for Data Privacy and Compliance at RTD since July 2021, Emily is the subject matter expert and custodian of records for Colorado Open Records Act requests. Prior roles include a Technical Project Specialist at Hall & Evans, LLC, and various positions at Xact Data Discovery, Edox Document Technologies, and Cornerstone Records Management, where expertise in E-Discovery solutions and records management was leveraged. Emily also possesses entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Summit Legal Solutions and has a solid foundational education in business from Carl Sandburg Junior College and St. Joseph's College, along with a high school diploma from Pike High School.
