Sara Bohar

Sara (Spiegel) Bohar is an experienced professional with a strong background in transit services and student support. Currently serving as Fixed Route Services Manager at RTD since July 2025, Sara previously held the position of Program Manager at MTM Transit, managing contracts related to RTD's Paratransit Program from July 2021 to July 2025. Prior roles include Operations Manager for Paratransit Operations at MTM, where Sara implemented a multi-million dollar contract for ADA Paratransit eligibility processes, and various leadership positions in student services, including Associate Dean of Student Services at DeVry University and Assistant Director at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Education focused on College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University.
