Mark McCarthy

Mark McCarthy is a versatile professional with extensive experience in journalism, finance, and management. Currently serving as a Guest Experience Specialist and Product Line Manager at Regional West Health Services since March 2021, Mark also contributes to the coverage of Kansas City Royals baseball as a writer for Kings of Kauffman. Mark's previous roles include editor at Gering Courier, reporter at Star-Herald, and multiple positions at NTC-Nebraska Transport Company, where responsibilities ranged from controller to traffic and rates management. Mark's experience in public service includes two terms as a council member for the City of Scottsbluff. Mark's career began in broadcasting as the Sports Director at KPNY Radio, showcasing a long-standing commitment to community engagement and media. Mark pursued studies at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Western Nebraska Community College.
