Selena Candia

Selena Candia is a regional councilor for the opposition (Lista Sansa) within the center-left coalition at Regione Liguria since September 2020. Currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of Genoa, with a research focus on sustainable tourism in urban planning, Candia has also held various roles, including a Research Fellow and Technical Advisor for the Marseille 2020 municipal elections. Prior experience includes contributions to EU project management and European project management at the Comune di Genova. Candia holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering, a State certification in Architecture, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Genoa, along with a linguistic diploma from Liceo linguistico Deledda.
