Andrés Hernández

Andrés (Andy) Hernández is an accomplished executive in digital banking, currently serving as EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Regions Bank since March 2014. In this role, Hernández leads the digital business and enterprise digital strategy, focusing on growth, customer experience, efficiency, digital transformation, and risk mitigation. Prior to Regions Bank, Hernández held various executive positions at leading financial institutions, including EVP of eBusiness/Digital Banking at BBVA and SVP of eCommerce at Bank of America. With a foundational role in pioneering online banking solutions at SouthTrust Bank, Hernández possesses deep expertise in multichannel banking strategies, operational support, and eCommerce. Hernández earned a BSBA in Computer & Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
