REGO-FIX Group
Infected by the pioneering spirit of the 1950s, tool maker Fritz Weber founded the company Fritz Weber Feinmechanik und Werkzeugbau. Driven by the power of innovation and his own tenacity, Fritz Weber has continuously added to the company's product portfolio. In 1972, he optimized what was, until then, known as the collet chuck. He called his model the ER collet chuck with R acting as a synonym for Rego-Fix. Weber's innovations have greatly influenced the advancement of tool clamping technology and his company has become famous worldwide. In 1993, the ER collet chuck was standardized as the German industrial norm (DIN 6499). Accordingly, the term ER collet chuck became a standard name for the world's top-selling tool clamping system. As an international family-owned and -operated company in its second generation with over 320 employees, Rego-Fix produces and sells highly precise tool clamping systems. The company's headquarters is located in Tenniken, Switzerland. It is one of the leading tool manufacturers and enjoys an outstanding reputation in the global metals processing industry. Through its global sales partner network and three separate locations in Switzerland, USA, Brazil, China, Japan and India, Rego-Fix is perfectly positioned with a global presence. Its pioneering inventions have enabled Rego-Fix to grow from a small company into a global solutions provider for tool clamping systems. Each product is developed with the goal of improving productivity and features made-in-Switzerland quality. Rego-Fix products are used particularly in the automotive and aviation industries as well as the mold construction, mechanical engineering, medical technology and watchmaking sectors.
