Curtis Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of agricultural research and risk modeling. Curtis is currently serving as a Senior Soil Carbon Scientist at Regrow Ag since June 2021. Prior to this, Curtis worked as an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Maryland starting from March 2020.
Before joining the University of Maryland, Curtis gained work experience as an Agriculture Risk Modeler at RMS from December 2018 to January 2020. Curtis also had two different roles at the University of Maryland, serving as an Assistant Research Professor from July 2016 to November 2018 and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from December 2013 to June 2016.
Furthermore, Curtis worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from June 2013 to December 2013. Curtis also gained research experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Florida from August 2008 to May 2013.
Curtis began their career as a Biological Technician at Water & Air Research from May 2006 to July 2008, and earlier as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida from February 2006 to May 2006.
Curtis Jones obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Curtis further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural and Biological Engineering between 2008 and 2013.
