Jonathan Duckworth

Jonathan Duckworth has extensive work experience in geospatial software engineering and analysis. Jonathan is currently working at Regrow Ag as a Senior Geospatial Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Radiant Earth Foundation as a Tech Lead & Geospatial Software Engineer. In these roles, they gained experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data management and analysis pipelines.

Jonathan has also worked at Maxar Technologies and DigitalGlobe as a GeoPython Developer, where they supported the development of the award-winning Geoscape product by PSMA Australia. Additionally, they created innovative technical solutions and sales enablement tools to support customer goals and sales engineer needs.

Before their roles in the geospatial field, Jonathan worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as an Analysis-Driven Geospatial Visualization Engineer. In this role, they developed and maintained data-driven geospatial web applications and conducted spatial analysis on renewable energy datasets. Jonathan also worked as an Intern-Data Analysis & Visualization at the same organization, where they developed applications for the visualization of spatio-temporal datasets.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan held roles at Thorne Nature Experience and Cal-Wood Education Center, where they worked in education program development and led field investigations with students.
