Yasir Assam

Yasir Assam has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Yasir currently works as a Software Engineer at Regrow Ag since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Deferit as a Developer from June 2021 to March 2023. From 2013 to 2021, Yasir held the role of Senior Software Engineer at MusoMates. Yasir also has experience as an Owner of Endless Void Software Consultancy, where they developed various web and desktop applications for multiple clients using PHP, MySQL, Flex, Java, Jetty, Tomcat, Hibernate, Swing, and also created a music notation, audio, and MIDI Windows app in C++. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sibelius Software from January 1997 to May 2005, contributing to the development of their C++ application for Windows and macOS. Prior to that, Yasir worked as a Software Engineer at CIX, Saladin, Life Computers, and Diwan during different periods in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Yasir Assam completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Imperial College London, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. In addition, Yasir obtained a certification as a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte in October 2018.
