Panpilas Fischer

Panpilas Fischer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Panpilas began their career in 1987 at KPMG, where they served various clients on audit engagements and prepared income tax returns. After working at KPMG for two years, Panpilas moved on to Clark Shaefer Hackett, CPA's & Advisors, where they worked as a Certified Public Accountant, assisting clients with income and state and local tax compliance.

In 1993, Panpilas started their own venture as the owner of GOURMET GRINDER, a successful specialty retail coffee and tea business. During their time as the owner, they managed all aspects of the business, including marketing, purchasing, and strategic direction for customer and sales growth.

In 2000, Panpilas joined NiSource, a regulated utility company, as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for tax accounting, planning, and compliance for multiple entities across different segments. Panpilas also handled complex calculations and prepared partnership returns.

At NiSource, Panpilas held various positions, including Tax Manager and Director of Tax. As the Director of Tax, they led tax-related matters for regulated companies, including rate cases, regulatory filings, and expert testimonies. Panpilas also served as a subject matter expert for the system supporting property-related book/tax differences processing.

Furthermore, Panpilas served as the President of PACE (Promoting Asian Culture and Engagement), an employee resource group at NiSource, from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they focused on increasing awareness about Asian cultures and fostering an inclusive work environment through education and talent acquisition. Panpilas also organized volunteer activities and events to involve NiSource in the Asian community.

Most recently, in 2020, Panpilas joined Regulated Capital Consultants as a Consultant.

Panpilas Fischer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) degree with a major in Accounting from The Ohio State University. No specific start or end dates are provided for this education.
