George Walker

George Walker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. George started their career as a CTO and Co-Founder of Dealsy, an iOS application that aggregated sale items from various fashion retailers. George then worked as an Arduino Masterclass Coordinator at Whoosh Workshops, where they devised and delivered programming and electronics workshops.

In 2015, George joined Mark Jenkins as a Stage Manager and Tour Assistant for an 18-date UK tour. George also worked as a Warehouse Assistant at Motion Picture Solutions, packing and distributing feature films and trailers. Additionally, they assisted with building a recording studio/live suite and live room at 24/7 Productions UK Ltd.

George's role at Ohbot Ltd. was Chief Technology Officer, where they designed and manufactured robot heads to help people learn about programming and robotics. George also served as an Ambassador and Developer for the company.

At UCL, George worked as a Research Assistant on the Crowdbot Project, developing solutions for robots to navigate crowded environments. George also worked as a Makespace Technician at The Institute of Making, ensuring the workshop was safe and well-organized.

Before their career in technology and robotics, George was a DJ/Producer and Founder of Fatlion Hi-Fi/Flatline, specializing in producing, performing, and marketing music. George has valuable experience in creative technology, web development, robotics, stage management, and workshop coordination.

George Walker attended Highgate Wood from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they attended Camden School for Girls 6th Form from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Maths, Music Technology, and English Literature. Lastly, they went on to the University of Sussex from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a BSC in Music Informatics.
