Karin Hergert

Karin Hergert has extensive work experience in research and development in the field of thermal systems and energy. Karin is currently the Head of Process Development & Application at Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Deputy Head of Department R&D at the same company starting from March 2020. Karin also served as a Development Engineer at Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH from April 2018.

Before joining Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH, Karin worked at Fraunhofer ISE where they held various research positions. Karin was a Postdoctoral Researcher from September 2017 to March 2018, a PhD Researcher from June 2013 to August 2017, a Researcher from October 2012 to May 2013, and a Research Assistant from August 2010 to September 2012.

In 2013, Karin received a scholarship from Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt, where they were involved in environmental projects until May 2016.
