Raghavan Ramkumar

Raghavan Ramkumar has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting as an intern and trainee programmer at Sundaram-Clayton in 2004, they gained experience in automation and test rig coding. Raghavan then worked as a Software Engineer at Satyam Computers, participating in full software development life cycles and designing systems to improve productivity.

Moving forward, Ramkumar joined Talisma_CRM as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led software development projects and integrated Talisma CRM with eBay. Raghavan also worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager, mentoring teams, managing remote engagements, and ensuring project success.

Ramkumar then transitioned to Campus Management Corp as a Managing Principal Consultant, where they built scalable CRM frameworks and implemented SaaS platforms for higher education. Raghavan also held the role of Software Engineering Manager, driving operational excellence and delivering cloud and virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.

At Quotient Technology Inc., Ramkumar worked as a Sr. Enterprise Solutions Architect, leading a cross-functional team and delivering cloud-based platforms for major retailers. Raghavan also served as a Software Engineering Manager, overseeing eCommerce and digital campaigns for Walgreens and Albertsons-Safeway.

Raghavan'smost recent position was at SiriusXM, where Ramkumar held multiple roles. As Principal Software Architect, they designed and implemented a resilient eCommerce platform and modernized legacy billing and payment systems. Raghavan then became a Senior Manager Engineering, managing a diverse team and delivering customer impacting features. Finally, they served as the Head of Engineering Department - Real Time Telematics (RTS/IOT), leading a team that successfully migrated telematics services for major OEMs to AWS cloud-native platform services.

Currently, Ramkumar is the Director of Technology Engineering at Rehrig Pacific Company, where they bring their extensive experience and expertise in leading cross-functional teams and driving successful customer-centric projects.

Raghavan Ramkumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras, from the years 2000 to 2004. Raghavan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Raghavan has obtained several certifications including Google Cloud Platform Essential Training, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Microsoft Certified Application Developer, and Microsoft Certified Professional.
