Bento Pereira

Bento Pereira has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Bento started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at VTEX in 2020, where they worked on backend Infrastructure tasks using Go, Kubernetes, and Docker. Bento later switched to a front-end squad focusing on performance optimization using Typescript and Open Source Software packages.

In 2022, Bento joined Rei do Pitaco as a Software Engineer, where they are responsible for fullstack development, including setting up E2E testing frameworks, infrastructure as code, and building Node.js backend APIs and Rust microservices.

Before their industry experience, Bento worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universidade de São Paulo. Bento assisted in correcting assignments and held office hours for various computer science classes.
