Greg Thiessen

Greg Thiessen currently serves as the Sr. Manager of HR Shared Services at REI, a position held since March 2015, where responsibilities include designing HR business planning processes and leading a team in HR operations and communications. Prior to REI, Greg Thiessen had an extensive tenure at Weyerhaeuser from June 1994 to February 2015, progressing through various leadership roles including Director of HR Shared Services and Director of Shared Services & Employee Benefits, overseeing corporate service delivery planning and program development. Greg Thiessen's educational background includes degrees in HR Management from the University of Alberta and a BFA from the University of Victoria, alongside completion of the Executive Leadership Program at Seattle University and additional studies at the University of Michigan.
