Jan Fitzpatrick has extensive experience at REI, starting as a Technical Support Analyst from 1987 to 1994, where leadership was provided for the Help Desk Team, along with support and mentorship for staff. Transitioning to the role of Retail and Desktop Engineer from 1995 to 2004, Jan managed the implementation of new operating systems and performed advanced IT support while focusing on training and procedural documentation. Since February 2005, Jan has served as Release Manager and IT Project Manager, overseeing the IT aspects of store openings, remodels, and closures, successfully launching 35 new stores while adhering to schedule, budget, and deliverable requirements. Jan holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a Certificate in Business Analysis from the University of Washington.
