Marsha Olson

Marsha Olson, MBA, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at REI since January 2021. Prior to this role, Marsha held various senior human resources positions at Columbia Sportswear Company, including Senior Manager for Human Resources in both US Omni_Channel and Direct-to-Consumer sectors from October 2014 to January 2021. At Nordstrom, from June 2008 to January 2014, Marsha was the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Director of New Store Human Resources & Nordstrom Rack Recruiting, leading strategic HR initiatives and talent acquisition efforts for a large retail organization. Marsha's earlier experience at Nordstrom also included the role of Manager of Human Resources from 2001 to 2008, where strong leadership abilities were utilized to support store operations and employee relations. Marsha holds an MBA from Willamette University, a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington, and two Certificates in Human Resources Management from the University of Washington and Duke University.
