Maya Plafkin

Maya Plafkin is an accomplished student and emerging business leader currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at UC Santa Barbara. As a member of UCSB Sigma Eta Pi since March 2023, Maya participates in professional development events, collaborates on entrepreneurial ventures, and previously served as the Pledge Class Historian. In addition, Maya is a member of the Student Fee Advisory Committee, analyzing department funding proposals for around 23,460 students, and manages budgetary recommendations. As Co President of TAMID Group, leadership skills are demonstrated by directing a large team and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Experience as a Data Analyst at Cinch focused on enhancing data reliability, and previous work as a Stylist Sales Associate at Levi Strauss & Co. highlighted exceptional customer support and inventory management.
