Alfred Tharwat, RCDD has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alfred began their career in 1995 as a Development Engineer at ASTREC. Alfred then worked as a Sales Engineer at CEDG from 1997 to 1998. Alfred joined Universe in 1998 as a Panduit Product Manager, where they promoted Panduit solutions and conducted technical presentations.
In 2004, Alfred Tharwat started working at Reichle & De-Massari as a Business Development Manager in Egypt. Alfred was responsible for starting new business ventures, conducting sales presentations, and tracking customer information. Alfred became the Area Manager for Africa in 2009, managing R&M's business in Egypt and North Africa. Alfred provided account management, prepared business plans, and forecasted trends in client needs.
In 2013, Alfred Tharwat was promoted to the role of Head of Training, Consultancy, and Data Center Business Development at Reichle & De-Massari. Alfred established technical relations with key accounts, provided consultancy services, and promoted the R&M portfolio.
Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Development and Technology at Reichle & De-Massari since August 2017. In this role, they are responsible for regional business development across the META region, supporting data center sales, and sales management for East and West Africa.
Throughout their career, Alfred Tharwat has demonstrated expertise in business development, sales management, account management, and technical consultancy within the data center industry.
Alfred Tharwat, RCDD, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Engineering from Ain Shams University, which they earned from 1990 to 1996. In 2004, they attended BICSI and obtained their RCDD certification in Communication Engineering. Additionally, Tharwat has received several additional certifications, including becoming a Salesforce.com Champion from Reichle & De-Massari AG in 2014, an R&Mfreenet Certified Instructor from Reichle & De-Massari R&M AG in 2010, and completing the Panduit Structured Cabling Course from CableNet Training, UK in 1999.
