Mercedes Martin

Mercedes Martin is an experienced professional with a diverse background in safety coordination and management. Currently serving as a Safety Coordinator & Interpreter at Reicks View Farms since May 2018, Mercedes oversees interviews, manages TN Visas, conducts interpreting and translation, performs housing inspections, and facilitates new hire orientation and safety training. Prior to this role, Mercedes worked at Sodexo from September 2010 to May 2018 as a Kitchen Supervisor and Account Safety Coordinator, where responsibilities included audit prevention, managing production and HACCP logs, and ensuring high-quality food service. Mercedes began career at Hy Vee in October 2008 and gained experience in various roles including Catering Assistant, Cashier, and Waitress, contributing to training new staff and leading a catering program. Educated at Luther College, Mercedes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Business Administration and Management, completed in 2014.
