Muhammad Asad Khan

Muhammad Asad Khan is a highly experienced Sr. Software Engineer V at Reinventing Geospatial (RGi), specializing in big data geospatial applications utilizing AI/ML and full stack development with technologies such as Scala, Java, React, Angular, and TypeScript. Concurrently, Asad serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, teaching Software Development and Cybersecurity courses. Previous roles include Software Engineer V at QinetiQ US, where software design and implementation for web-enabled video streaming applications were key responsibilities, as well as positions with Leidos, Freddie Mac, GEICO, PIXIA Corp, VBrick Systems, ATSC, and Harman International, highlighting a diverse skill set in software engineering, video processing, and multimedia applications across various programming languages and frameworks. Asad holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, along with a Master’s degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
